High School !!! 50th Reunion !!! Can you believe that it's been 50 years since 1960! It's hard to believe because we all still look just like we did in high school and can still wear the same clothes. The reunion committee has put it together for us. Here's the Schedule: Friday, October 1, 2010 There will be a casual get acquainted night at the Holiday Inn and Suites at I-40 and Highway 64 near the Wolfchase Mall. For dress the key word is casual. Saturday, October 2, 2010 Dinner, entertainment, and dancing at the Holiday Inn University of Memphis on Central east of Highland. This event is dressy which I interpret as business suit or jacket and tie for the guys and whatever that equates to for the gals. The cost will be $75 per person. Please send your checks to: Louise Rhodes I'm sure that the committee has to put up money to reserve the facilities, so they would appreciate getting your check ASAP. The committee has secured special room rates at both Holiday Inns. The rate is $109. At the Conference Center across the street from Holiday Inn University of Memphis. The rate is $85. If you aren't on Facebook, you might want to give it a try. Here is a You Tube video you may find interesting. Check this out. I !!! 45th Reunion !!! The 45th Reunion is history and was a great success thanks to our fantastic reunion committee. Sadly, Victor Ellis wasn't able to make it because he was wiped out by the hurricane. Others were also prevented from making it because of the storm. We were very pleased to have Coach Bill "Bear" McClain with us. Coach McClain brought us a lot of fun and pride during our years at Treadwell. And he made basketball a first line sport in Memphis, instead just something the football coaches did on the side. I'm back home now and will start working on the web page again. Watch the Reunion Gallery for pictures. I added some picture from the 2000 reunion provided by Joy King Vinson in gallery 4 and 5.
